Four Corners Mug Club Update

Tuesday, December 15, 2009
By Jeff

As I mentioned two months ago, the Four Corners Mug Club is going through some changes. Soggy Coaster of Beer at 6512 posted an email from Ska Brewing Co. co-founder/co-owner Bill Graham detailing some of the changes coming to the Mug Club around the same time. I hadn’t heard anything else regarding the Mug Club until now. According to a post on their Facebook Page, Three Rivers Brewery in Farmington says the Mug Club will start back up tomorrow.

I’m not sure if they’ve left out some of the details Bill Graham mentioned in his email, or if some of the features of the Mug Club didn’t make it, but starting tomorrow you should be able to sign up for the Mug Club again, at least at Three Rivers Brewery. According to their post the Mug Club is still $40/year but this year doesn’t actually include a mug (don’t have to worry about carrying the mug around, but they were pretty cool). Membership will get you $1 off pints at each brewery as well as $2 off pints Wednesday nights at each brewery.

The text of the announcment is below the break. I’ve contacted Steamworks, Ska and Carver Brewing to confirm when they’ll be selling Mug Club Membership and will update this post if/when I hear back.
UPDATE: I’ve gotten confirmation from Ska, Steamworks and Carver Brewing that they’re all selling the mug club membership cards today. I’m told that the extra goodies outlined in the blog post on Beerat6512 haven’t been nixed, they’ve just been delayed until the system is tested and running smoothly, and should appear sometime down the road.

Hey Mug Clubbers, we will be relaunching the Mug Club tomorrow, Wednesday 12/16/2009 so here is all the info. and details for the newly revamped Mug Club!!

Well, as many of you know, the Mug Club has undergone many changes this year so here’s the rundown.. First of all, no more mugs to lug around, instead your proof of membership is in the form of a swipe card similar to a gift card, credit card, etc. Also, instead of renewing every year at the same time regardless of when you signed up, now we are able to make it so your membership is good for a full year from your sign up date. As always, members receive benefits at all four Mug Club Breweries: Ska Brewing, Steamworks, Carvers Brewing Co. & Three Rivers Brewery.

Member Benefits:
- $1.00 off every pint at all participating breweries.
- $2.00 off pints Every Wednesday Night from 5pm-9pm

Alright, so since membership costs $40, all you have to do is drink 40 pints, or 20 Wednesday Night Pints and your membership has paid for itself, and then you’re just raking in the savings :) …Not naming any names, but I can definitely think of a few who will certainly have that taken care of in the first month no prob..

Now for the boring part…

Terms & Conditions:
- The Mug Club membership card must be presented at time of purchase in order to recieve Mug Club Benefits.
- The Mug Club Membership card must be presented by the person assigned to the membership card being used.
- The Mug Club membership card has no cash value, cannot be transferred and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- Valid only for Mug Club benefits for one year from the date of purchase.
- The Mug Club is only for those of legal drinking age (21+ ONLY!!).
- The Mug Club reserves the right to revoke membership at any time for any reason and/or action we deem harmful to the Mug Club. This means treat the beer & our businesses with respect, and don’t drink & drive.

DRINK RESPONSIBLY!!!
CHEERS!!

Hmm – a mugless mug club… ok. I do like the fact that it’s a rolling membership. But no mug, preferably of larger size than a pint? :-(

And cheers for Silverton Brewing getting on board!! Pagosa? DBC? … DBC??!?
